Welcome

Hello! Welcome to my website. As far as I can remember, I have been moved by the power of words and music. In my childhood I made up stories, plays and songs, which were mostly enjoyed in private. In the world I grew up in, the school system separated the arts and sciences very starkly, and so the idea of professionally pursuing my artistry was a dream…but I never stopped dreaming. Slowly over the years, I began to reconnect back to my literary voice, accelerating initially in 2009, and most recently, during the time of the pandemic.

Today most of my writing is in the form of poetry and lyrics. My collaborations with Classical Contemporary Composers, has produced critically acclaimed art songs, where my narrative and lyric poetry, which combines classic poetry with a sharp observational analysis of our present times, is combined with the best of contemporary classical music by living composers from around the world. Bringing these songs to life, are some of the best performers of our day.

I welcome collaborations with both individuals and organizations, who want originally crafted lyrics or prose for art songs, musical theatre, poetry, or drama.
